Clan Match & Scrimmage Information
The [AE] Clan welcomes the opportunity to have clan battles or scrimmages with just about any clan.
To schedule a clan match or scrimmage with our clan fill out our challenge form.
We have the following preferences in regards to clan wars, battles, scrimmages and matches:
1) We like to set a date once all the details are confirmed for at two weeks in advance so it allows enough time for both clans to prepare for the match.
2) We must have even teams so, if either clan has more or less players the number of players in the match will have to be adjusted to an even amount of players for each clan.
3) We only play the Half Life 2 - Fortress Forever.
4) We will only play offical matches on maps that have been proven stable (preferrably ones that are approved or used by gaming leagues). We are willing to play scimmages/matches on any of the maps on our server and we are also open to suggestions of playing scrimmages on other maps provided they are known to be stable.
5) We like to play match rounds that are anywhere from 30 to 45 min. with a minimum of a two minute prematch. However, we are open to different times depending on the opposing clans preferences.
6) At the designated time of the match we like to meet in the pre-assigned server, verify everything is ready verbally and then proceed with the match or scrimmage.
7) We only play fair and expect that of anyone who plays against us. We don't use any type of client side hacks or cheats. We ask that the clans we play also NOT use them so it makes the match fair and square.
8) For our matches and scrimmages we require them to take place on a password protect server and do not allow spectators during the match (delayed TV broadcast is usually enabled).
9) We never have cheats enabled in our matches/scrimmages, we don't include frags in the overall team score, and most of the server side variables are set to the standardized server or league gaming attributes.
10) We count a tie score in a round as a win for both teams and play the best out of three rounds.
