First of all, before we get into where the ASSEATERS originated from, let's rate where you stand on the am I gay scale. When you first entered the ASSEATER Clan site, what was on your mind? Did you feel your butt pucker? Were you thinking, man these guys are gay, what a messed up name to have. Will I become gay if I check out this site? Am I gay? etc., etc.
Now if you had any of these thoughts going through your head well then, your right, you probably are gay. The thoughts were there. Admit it, you were thinking gay!
If you truly are gay, well to each his own, have a nice day and we doubt you want to be here. Just in case it is not obvious at this point, WE ARE NOT GAY!! Sorry, but if you are homosexual and are looking for homosexual pornography you will not get any pic's to spank with here. To be blunt - LEAVE!
Now back to the topic on hand, the ASSEATER CLAN.
The ASSEATER CLAN is a group of individuals who enjoy playing online games for FUN and meeting new people. Most of of our clan members are NOT hardcore gamers; they are mostly part time gamers that put their everyday lives before online gaming. We like a lot of clans started out as a group of close friends that used to things with each other on a social basis "in the real world". Since then our members have grown but the we still all consider each other to be good friends and conduct things socially each year as a group.
The ASSEATER CLAN is basically a "for fun" only playing clan that doesn't normally play in leagues. With that said however, to promote the mod we currently play we have a competitive division that plays in the UGC - Fortress Forever League. We also regularly play play against other clans in friendly scrimmages/matches. We look at any clan matches/scrtimmages we play in the following way: the better your clan is, the better practice we get. You can think of us as your clan's warm up for any official league match you have coming up. The ASSEATER Clan is not the best nor the worst clan out there. Some clans that play us probably will think we can't play worth crap and others may think we are pretty damn good. Either way it goes without saying we have accomplished something that benefits both clans. This of course being that we both had some fun fragg'in and we both further our TFC playing skills by playing against each other. Think of the ASSEATER Clan as your clans warm up crew, the better your clan becomes playing against us the better we get to. Either way it's a win, win situation for both clans and is not that what online gaming is all about?
The ASSEATER Clan firmly believes in playing fair. We consider the use of league banned scripts, multiple game action binds, and other client side modifications that effect play - CHEATING! The ASSEATER Clan does not cheat whatsoever when we play. With that said, we expect that any clans we play against to not unfairly use modified client side half-life 'cheats' or use map exploits and so on when they play against us. After all, if you can't get really good playing the game without the help of modifications/exploits/cheats then why bother playing in the first place!
Our clans original name originated from a concept began by a certain individual that used to go by the alias of Impact. He was part of a group of people who all they did was talk on citizen band radio's and agitate the heck out of people! And if you haven't guessed it by now, this group was called the ASSEATERS. The ASSEATER name, promotes hate, discontent, and best of all agitation. What better way to confuse your enemies? Wow, the possibilities? We all have computers, participate in online gaming, and have broadband connections to the Internet. Why don't we agitate the web! What better way to do it than playing games with people on the Internet.
What game should we use? Ah Half Life, now there is one HELL of a bitch'in game. A number of mod's to choose from - Death, Destruction, Blood, Guts, and the ability to team play. What a perfect name to represent this kind of mayhem - ASSEATER!
